As I mentioned in my last Blog post Rika and Luna were shown this past weekend in Cloverdale. Both girls had a good weekend Rika won Winners Female both Friday and Saturday for a total of 4 points.

Megan showed Luna on Saturday, Luna won Best of Winners and is now a *New Champion! Congratulations to Megan and Luna. I will post the official show picture when I receive it.

I was lucky enough to be able to visit Triple B Bernese in Vacaville California last weekend and bring home a wonderful puppy girl. Her registered name will be Triple B's Perfect Harmony and we will be calling her Phoebe. Phoebe has been with us a week today, she has lovely structure and a wonderful temperament. A big Thank you to Toni Beelard for letting me add Phoebe to our family. I'll be adding photos as she grows so check back….

Lower Mainlands Show

Luna and Rika both showed this weekend, Friday and Saturday only. It seems that it wasn't our turn for points this weekend but Rika did receive "Reserve Winners Female" or second place, both days. Both girls showed well and Rika was very good considering it was her first time in a show.

Luna is next entered in the Papillon Specialty at the Tradex in Abbotsford Friday October 28th. I plan to enter Rika and Luna in shows in November and December.

Mt. Cheam Show Results

We had a great weekend at the show! Megan and Spice the Dachshund puppy made it all the way to the "Best Puppy in Show" ring!! An Italian Greyhound puppy won Best Puppy in Show but Megan and Spice did a great job and had an outstanding day.

Luna, our Papillon, won Best of Winners, Best Opposite Sex and Best Puppy in Breed on both Saturday and Sunday. There were good entries both days so Luna earned 9 points towards her championship. An awesome weekend for Luna!!

Wish Luna and Rika luck for the upcoming Fraser Valley show Thanksgiving weekend.

Upcoming Shows

Summer's over and it's time to get to some dog shows!

The Mount Cheam Shows are at Heritage Park, Chilliwack, this coming weekend September 23/24/25. Luna is entered all three days in senior puppy class. Megan, our daughter, is also showing "Spice" a lovely Joskip Dachshund puppy. Spice has been staying with us for the month of September but will be returning to Jo Reeves after the show.

Fraser Valley Dog Fanciers Show is the Thanksgiving long weekend October 7/8/9/10 at the Cloverdale Agriplex. We have entered Luna again in senior puppy on Friday and Saturday October 7 & 8. Enstones Ulrika "Rika" is also entered for her very first shows on the 7th and 8th. Rika will be in Open class.

Please wish Rika, Luna and Spice good luck in the upcoming shows!

Luna's first show

Luna was in her first show this past weekend at Hazelmere RV Park in Langley, BC. It was a beautiful sunny weekend and Luna had a great time! Luna went "Reserve Winners Female" both days. She was happy and outgoing and looked great.

The next show I plan to enter is in Chiliwack, BC at the end of September.
